Okay... so here's the tea...

My focus has always been on business. From a very young age I always knew I wanted to do my own thing. Or maybe that was just my ego talking. At 13 I started teaching the neighbor kids piano lessons, and from there built a pretty decent sized studio of 45 students by the age of 20. Then covid happened. So that went down the crapper. But it scratched my itch enough to know that I wanted to run my own show, or at the very least have something on the side that I could be passionate about. If you have a story of wanting to run your own show, trust me, I get it. Along with the mental and emotional fortitude it takes to consistently put in the effort. What I can tell you though is this: I've ran businesses when I was unhealthy and when I was healthy. The ones I ran when I was healthy are the ones still standing today, and I don't think that's a coincidence.

If you're a gay professional and happy with your work life, yet you want more integration between your personal and professional sides, I've been there too. Entering into the corporate world as a gay man had its challenges, but overtime I learned how to set boundaries and surround myself with people who respected and admired me for me, sexuality and all. Don't fool yourself by thinking that keeping your work and personal life separate is healthy. Its not. It'll cause roadblocks in your life, if it hasn't already.

Anyways, back to the story. Just before covid I was diagnosed with a disease affecting my gut and how I digested foods. As a gay man who mostly bottoms, this created a concern. So for the last several years I've studied gut and sexual health, and learned some of the best ways to advocate for myself in each of those areas.

Then, about two years ago I decided that I was sick of not feeling confident enough to take shirtless photos to post to grindr, so I decided to step up my physical health. Now, this was after I had tried probably a dozen fitness plans, weight loss supplements, personal trainers, social media trends, etc. So I was pretty hopeless. However, I realized that knowing what I now know about gut health, I didn't need to count calories or go to the gym 8 days a week. I understood how the body functions. So with the help of a close friend of mine who happens to be a personal trainer, we created a custom plan for my nutritional and physical health, taking into account my needs as a bottom and as someone who needed to pay close attention to the quality of foods to optimize gut health.

And BAM. Took about 6 months, and I lost 40lbs.

I now have much more muscle and definition than this particular "after" picture, however I show this photo because this is the one that's closest to my heart. This is the moment that I realized my life would never be the same. And I say I realized it would "never be the same" because losing the weight was only one fraction of the change I was able to make. Emotionally and mentally, I had never been more focused and clear. Nutritionally, I had never been more confident in my food choices, and understood the key pieces of information on how to fuel my body correctly. Physically, I had never felt or looked better. And sexually, I had never been more free.

So if you're a gay executive, you feel disassociated between your personal and professional lives, and want not only harmony and inclusion between them, but you're ready to design your life and your body around what you want for your life, not what you'll settle for because you don't believe there's another way... Then we should chat.

Hope to connect with you soon.
